Who processes your data

Marcela Matus Campos, Gerónimo de Alderete 283, Local 10, Pucón, Chile.

For any matter concerning your personal data, write to contacto@galeriadeartematiz.cl.

What we collect, what for, and on what grounds

Data What for Grounds
Name, email, phone and address Processing and shipping your purchase Performance of the contract
Purchase details Issuing the receipt and meeting tax obligations Legal obligation
What you write when contacting us Replying to you Pre-contractual measures
Browsing data (our own cookies) Keeping the cart and your session working Legitimate interest

We do not process sensitive data. We make no automated decisions about you. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Your card details

We never see or store them. Payment is processed by Transbank in its own environment, and we only receive confirmation that it went through.

Who else receives them

To fulfil the contract: the transport company that carries the work to your address, Transbank for the payment, and the hosting provider where the site lives. None of them may use your data for anything else.

Beyond that, Meta Platforms receives data about your browsing of this site —and about your purchase, when you make one— through the pixel described under Cookies, for advertising purposes.

How long we keep them

  • Purchase data: for as long as the legal and tax obligations last.
  • Enquiry data: for the duration of the conversation and up to one year afterwards.

Your rights, and how to exercise them

You can ask us at any time for:

  • Access — to know what data of yours we hold and obtain a copy.
  • Rectification — to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure, or the right to be forgotten — to have it deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose that justified it.
  • Objection — to have us stop processing it for a given purpose.
  • Portability — to receive it in a format you can take to another service.
  • Blocking — to have it suspended while a dispute is resolved.

Write to contacto@galeriadeartematiz.cl stating which right you wish to exercise. We will ask you to confirm your identity —so as not to hand your data to someone else— and will reply within the legal deadline, free of charge.

What we cannot delete

The right to be forgotten does not reach what the law requires us to keep. If you made a purchase, the receipt and the accounting record of that sale are kept for the tax retention period. What we do delete is your associated personal data, so the sale remains on record but is no longer linked to you.

If you believe we got it wrong

You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales).

Cookies

This site uses two kinds of cookies, and it is worth telling them apart.

First-party and necessary

These make the site work, and are written only when needed:

  • Cart and shopping session — created when you add a work to the cart, so the site remembers it while you shop.
  • Language — stored only if you switch the site language, so we do not ask you again for a month.
  • Light or dark mode, and the WhatsApp button — keep your preference in your own browser (local storage); that information never reaches our server.

Advertising, from a third party

This site carries the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which we use to measure and target our advertising. It works like this:

  • It writes a cookie called _fbp in your browser from your very first visit, without waiting for you to do anything, and it lasts 90 days.
  • It loads a script from Meta and reports which pages you visit on this site. When you buy, it also reports the purchase event.
  • Meta Platforms receives that information and handles it under its own policies.

This site does not currently show a consent notice before loading it. We are reviewing that point ahead of Law 21,719 coming into force in December 2026, and we will update this policy once it is settled.

In the meantime you can delete cookies from your browser —the cart will then stop remembering you—, block third-party cookies in its settings, or adjust the advertising Meta shows you from the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to the administration area is restricted to authorised accounts. Should a breach occur that puts your data at risk, we will notify the Agency and the people affected as required by law.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date.
